Ja som a a la capital de Tailandia, Bangkok, despres de 650km en tren. Per arribar fins a la capital hem anat en 2a classe en un tren express, amb llitera i aire condicionat. Els trens express no tenen 3a classe i son per tant mes cars que aquests, pero son mes comodes per a distancies que poden comportar passa una nit al tren ((tenen aire condicionat i dutxa) com a estat el darrer cas.
A mitja tarda els cambrers del tren passen demanant el sopar i esmorzar per a aquells que el vulquin. Sino es pot comprar menjar preparat a les estacions o als mercats propers abans de pujar el tren. Cap a quarts de vuit de la tarda, l'encarregat del vago passa seient a seient per a convertir-los en les lliteres, una de baixa i una d'alta, que sempre inclouen llencols i manta nets. Una cortina dona al viatger la poca intimitat necessaria per a passar la nit. Aixo si el moviment del tren i la llum que durant tota la nit no s'apaga, et permet d'agafar la son.
Bangkok, la ciutat amb el sobrenom de la "Ciutat dels Angels" va neixer el 1786 quan el rei Rama I va portar fins aqui la capital del regne. Amb 8 milions d'habitans i un transport public deficient, Bangkok pateix de frequentment embussos, de soroll i de contaminacio. Problemes que pateixen no nomes les ciutats asiatiques, tambe les europees...
Haviem sentit diversos comentaris sobre la zona s'allotgen habitualment els viatgers que visiten Bangkok, Kaosan Road., cap d'ells positius. Kaonsan Rd. es un ghetto turistic on es pot trobar allotjament barat a qualsevol hora del dia. Pero tambe a qualsevol hora del dia es pot trobar per aquest carrer peatonal panxuts amb una cervesa a la ma a primera hora del dia, venda de samarretres de dubtos gust, cocktails a 1,5 euros, i soroll, molt de soroll. Dormir a Kaosan Rd. es pot convertir en una tasca impossible quan practicament les pareds prefabricades del Guesthouse on dorms, vibren seguint la musica del bar-musical que hi ha sota!
Tot i els sovints embussos i dens transit que hi ha per Bangkok, treure's el carnet de concuir aqui es molt facil. Nomes cal anar a qualsevol de les multiples paradetes que hi ha Kaosan Rd., acordar un preu, portar una foto, i en poques hores tindras el teu carnet de conduir europeu, america, o d'on faci falta. No cal dir que son falsificacions, clar. Pero no nomes carnets de conduir ofereixen, sino tambe d'estudiant, de Premsa, de Fotograf, de treballador de Linea Aeria... o qualsevol altra sota comanda. Passaport? Carnet del Barca? I tot a quatre passes dels policies que ronden per la zona.
I que comentar dels quatre barris vermells que hi ha a la ciutat. Durant la segona guerra mundial, la ciutat es va convertir en el burdell de molts soldats que trobaven en la permisivitat de la seva gent un lloc ideal per esbargir-se. Bars de Go-Go, de Top-less, de masatges de tota mena, i d'espectacles porno es el que es pot trobar tot passejant per aquests barris.
